  • Join Danae Robinett for two hours of self-care. Learn how to reduce fatigue and stress, and experience a sense of rejuvenation and bliss. This workshop focuses on alleviating tension and stress—one of the leading causes of disease—by combining Restorative Yoga, Essential Oils, and Yoga Nidra.

    The Restorative Yoga practice helps you discover ways to let go through passive and gentle postures. Yoga Nidra, or yoga sleep, is a conscious deep relaxation that complements the restorative practice. Essential oils are woven in to further enhance relaxation and promote complete surrender.

    Blankets, bolsters, and other props will be used to support the muscles and bones, allowing the body to release all tension. Restorative postures will be performed in a reclined or seated position and held for a longer time, giving the body a chance fully to relax.

    Dress in layers and bring a mat. All props will be provided.

  • Join Kristin Walsh for this classic approach to Yin Yoga, with special attention to grounding poses as we shift gears from late summer into fall.  During this seasonal shift our bodies crave balance from excess vata (wind) present in the change of season. Passive and longer held asana poses help to ground the mental and physical body.  In Yin Yoga we approach asana slowly - find our edge, practice stillness and hold poses for an extended period of time. This stillness allows us time to go within and explore what is going on in life.  When the breath slows down, and when the body slows down, the mind also slows down. From this stillness clarity is cultivated, and the body and mind are free to move, create or discard what is necessary to move forward into the next season or phase of life. This workshop is for anyone looking to slow down, nourish the body through acupressure points via compression of the meridian lines, enhance and balance prana. This workshop is all levels and is welcome to anyone no matter their experience.
