• Celebrate the holiday season with this fun and relaxed 2-hour workshop where you will learn:

    Beginning Partner Yoga Basics:yoga poses that will help support, stretch, and connect to your body. Enhance your communication skills while improving self-awareness through creative movement. Partner Yoga helps us cultivate both physical and emotional support in relationships through trust building exercises.
    Thai Massage Basics: Learn a simple sequence that will help to relax, nurture and further stretch your body. Originating in Thailand approximately 2,500 years ago, and originally practiced in Buddhist Temples, this form of massage combines hand compressions with a series of stretches to assist in loosening the muscles and bring a sense of peace to the body.

    Bring a partner, family, friend, or arrive solo and be paired with a fellow yogi, no experience necessary, limited class size.

  • Learn how to reduce fatigue and stress, and experience a sense of rejuvenation and bliss with Danae Robinett. This workshop focuses on alleviating tension and stress-one of the leading causes of disease-by combining Restorative Yoga, Essential Oils, and Yoga Nidra.

    The Restorative Yoga practice helps you discover ways to let go through passive and gentle postures. Yoga Nidra, or yoga sleep, is a conscious deep relaxation that complements the restorative practice. Essential oils are woven in to further enhance relaxation and promote complete surrender.

    Blankets, bolsters, and other props will be used to support the muscles and bones, allowing the body to release all tension. Restorative postures will be performed in a reclined or seated position and held for a longer time, giving the body a chance fully to relax.

    Dress in layers and bring a mat. All props will be provided.

  • 8-week Mindfulness Course

    Every Sunday 5:30-7:00 pm

    Mindfulness is awareness that evolves by open, non- judgmental, and non-reactive attention to the present moment. The practice of mindfulness is cultivated through the practice of meditation. This 8-week course developed by psychotherapist, yoga and meditation teacher Susan Bowen, begins by focusing attention on the breath and body. We then learn how to work with difficult emotions and thoughts, and how to respond to the challenges of life with courage, choice, and compassion. Over time and with practice we begin to experience life with more peace and clarity. The course includes principles of mindfulness, guided formal and informal meditations, experiential practices, home practices, and 8 weeks of personal support from Susan Bowen. Mindfulness Practice for Being Well promotes healing, inspires self-compassion and acceptance, increases emotional intelligence and enhances your ability to relate to the challenges of everyday life.
